Roscommon Galway TD Eugene Murphy claims An Taoiseach has ‘pulled a stroke’ in relation to the appointment of Máire Whelan to the court of appeal.
President Michael D.Higgins confirmed the new post yesterday despite a row among cabinet members over the controversial move.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show , Deputy Murphy said the decision may have contravened the confidence and supply agreement, and definitely ”shortened the odds on an election in the next 6 to 9 months”
