The cheapest Eircode area to purchase a home in Ireland in June was Castlerea in Roscommon.
New figures from the CSO reveal that the most expensive Eircode area for household dwelling purchases was Dublin 6′, with an average price of €712,552.
However, in the west Roscommon town, the average price was €69,944 – the average price in Boyle was €103,638.
In Carrick-on-Shannon, the average price by Eircode was €101,301 in June and in Longford it was €94,088.
The most expensive Eircode area last month was Athlone, where the average price was just over €142,000 followed by Roscommon, where the average price according to CSO stats for June was €122,095
