Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man stole €200 from Frenchpark Service Station and drove off without paying for his petrol.
The incident happened at the petrol station on the Ballaghaderreen Road in Roscommon at around noon yesterday.
The man who was driving a gold Ford Mondeo filled his car with petrol before entering the building and gaining access to an office where he stole the cash and then fled the scene in the vehicle.

Gardai in Castlerea are currently examining CCTV footage in a bid to gain a description and are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
