County Longford forecourt retailer Hanlon’s Gala Applegreen Service Station has won a major industry prize at Ireland’s biggest retail awards held earlier this month.
The Service Station, which employs twenty eight full and part time staff in Longford Town won the forecourt and convenience Category 2 prize at the awards ceremony.
Ireland’s grocery and convenience market is worth 18 billion euro annually and the local forecourt industry has a growing share of the market.
