A senior official with Longford County Council is hopeful that an agreement will be reached on upgrading of N4 from Mullingar to Roosky
Talks have taken place in recent weeks between Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Chambers of Commerce from across the Shannonside/Northern sound region discuss the importance of upgrading the route in order to maintain and improve trade between the region and connect it to Dublin.
It’s hoped the improvement in the road network could lead to further multi-national investment in the region.
