A Longford artist will exhibit her work at a major exhibition in Dublin next weekend.
Eibhilin Crossan was able to pursue her art career thanks to a job share option at her local national school.
The Longford woman says she been painting since she was four but slowly turned her back on it after she began teaching.
She says the idea of the job share was to give her time to paint as a creative outlet only, but her work has been so well received that she is now selling pieces.
Eibhilin says she’s very happy to have decided to focus more on art again…
Eibhilin will be among 130 contemporary Irish artists to exhibit at the Art Source in Dublin from the 10th to the 12th of this month.
