Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar says he hopes to have good news for the N4 upgrading campaign when the revised capital programme is published later this year.
While the soon to be elected Taoiseach says he can’t make any promises at this time, he is hopeful there will be scope for upgrading the route.
Minister Varadkar says that as a former transport minister he is well aware of the importance of the roads infrastructure in allowing balanced development across the country.
