James Reynolds appealing ICSA decison to remove him as treasurer

Longford man James Reynolds says he’s confident he can hold on to his position as treasurers of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association.

The management committee of the organisation took a decision last month to allegedly remove him from the association because of his links with a right-wing political party.

James Reynolds was elected as treasurer of the ICSA early last year for a two-year term, and since that he has also become deputy president of The National Party.


The north Longford man says he lodged an appeal against the decision a week ago and is confident following his involvement at yesterday’s AGM that he does have the support of the national executive of the ICSA:
