Irish Water in starting work today (Monday 6th Nov) on the long awaited water mains replacement in Ballymahon.
The extensive work along Main Street is expected to take 12 to 14 weeks to complete and will involve some water shut-offs in the area.
Irish Water has said that the upgrading will be done in short sections to minimise the impact on business, residents and road users as much as possible.
