The former Dunnes Stores premises on Longford’s main street has been sold after years of lying idle.
The premises which stretches to nearly 9,000sq ft and is beside Ulster Bank was on the market for €260,000.
It’s understood it was bought by a local business person but it’s not yet known what the landmark building will be used for.

The property which is spread over three floors is regarded as a key location on the main street.
It was the former base for Dunnes before the supermarket giant’s move to a new site on the Dublin Road ten years ago.
