A large shopping centre in Granard has sold at an auction this morning for €355,000.
There were up to 100 offers placed on the 40,000-square-foot property, called Barrack Lane Shopping Centre, at the BidX1 auction before it was sold.
It had a guide price of €250,000, and the lot also included three development sites.

Meanwhile, the historic St Mary’s Convent building in Ballaghaderreen will be auctioned in the Central Bar, Roscommon town, at 3 o’clock this afternoon.
Property Partners Earley has a reserve of just €50,000 on the listed premises, built in 1876.
