A retail unit and office development in Roscommon town will be auctioned next month with a guide price of €330,000.
It’s one of 20 Shannonside properties that’ll go under the hammer by auctioneer BidX1 on November 10th and 11th.
The commercial development in Castle Street, Roscommon town, is the most expensive local property in the catalogue, at €330,000.
Part of what’s known as Castle Court House, the 7,000-square-foot lot comprises a ground-floor retail unit, with offices overhead.
It’s rented for €33,000 a year, with the tenants being the HSE and the owners of the Melting Pot, while a second-floor office is vacant.
Another Castle Street property will also go under the hammer that day – a vacant office and retail block that measures 8,600-square-feet.
Though it’s larger than the nearby property, its guide price is significantly less, at €120,000.
A three-storey property in Main Street, Athlone, which currently trades as the Mother India Restaurant, has a reserve of €120,000.
The residential developments that’ll be auctioned include a two-storey apartment in Glenn Riada, Strokestown Road, Longford, which has a reserve range of just €13,000 to €17,000.
There are also homes in Ballymahon, Edgeworthstown and Longford town that have reserves of between €20,000 and €75,000.
Meanwhile, a vacant retail unit and one-bedroom apartment in Bridge Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon, could be snapped up for as little as €75,000 to €85,000.
