A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash in south Leitrim this morning.
The crash happened shortly after 8am on the Cloone-Mohill road, where two cars collided, but the woman taken to Sligo University Hospital is not thought to be seriously injured.
And Superintendent Kevin English is urging drivers to take exceptional care on roads after a number of other minor accidents in the Leitrim area this morning.
Separately, the N55 has reopened between Edgeworthstown and Granard after the removal of a jack-knifed truck, with the incident happening at about 7.30am.
A has lorry also gone off the road in the Athlone Road, about two miles outside Roscommon town, near Athlone Laboratories.
The lorry is partially in the ditch and gardaí and Roscommon County Council staff are at the scene, with caution advised.
