Changes to services on the Dublin Sligo rail line will mean less trains on some days during the summer months.
The 4 o’ clock service from Connolly to Sligo which currently operates from Monday to Sunday will only operate on Friday for the next couple of months.
The 4 o’ clock service from Connolly to Mullingar will operate instead from Monday to Thursday.
The changes also mean that the 4.30 service from Sligo to Connolly on Sundays won’t operate either for the next several weeks.
Barry Kenny from Iarnrod Eireann says the changes reflect a reduced demand for some service during the summer months.
