The group says the cost of repair is around €400 which they don’t have at present.

Senator Keith Swanick who’s originally from Co Roscommon is presently trying to have a new Bill adopted which will introduce much stiffer penalties for anyone found interfering with lifesaving equipment.

He says the incident at Cloone not only results in the vital equipment not being available for emergencies, but is also an affront to the strong community spirit of the local area.
