The Dail was suspended this afternoon after a blazing row between Sligo-Leitrim TD Marc Mac Sharry and Kerry brothers Michael and Danny Healy Rae.
The leas Ceann Comhairle Pat the Cope Gallagher was forced to suspend the house after the Fianna Fail TD raised his objections to Michael Healy Rae asking an additional question to a matter raised by his brother Danny under promised Dail Legislation.
However, Deputy McSharry claimed that the new system of TDs holding laminated cards in order to to be allowed take their turn in the chamber was being abused by the Kerry TDs.
That resulted in a brief shouting match between both sides:
