Leitrim TD: Save post offices for Santa Claus

Leitrim Sinn Féin Deputy Martin Kenny is asking Communications Minister Denis Naughten to help out Santa Claus by keeping rural post offices around the country open for business.

The Sinn Féin TD says the importance of our postal service is emphasised at Christmas when millions of people send seasonal messages to their family and friends.

Deputy Martin Kenny says another vital reason for the post offices to survive is so that children can send their letters to the North Pole.
