A Co Leitrim company is inviting workers from Longford Architectural Metalwork to contact them about possible jobs.
Jetwash in Carrigallen contacted local Fine Gael Councillor Peggy Nolan after they heard about the closure of the Longford plant on Monday of this week.
The company says it has a number of vacancies available for welders/fabricators and drawing staff.

Councillor Peggy Nolan told yesterday’s meeting of Longford County Council about the letter and says she hopes it might be of help to some of the workers:
