Drumshanbo principal critical of lack of information from Irish Water

A Drumshanbo school principal is heavily critical on the lack of information from Irish Water on the water shortage situation.

Maureen O’ Keefe from St Patricks National School in the town says that they knew in the school they had enough water in tanks to last for two days but she could get no answer on Monday from Irish Water about when the supply would be back.

She says that while she understands the serious problem with water supply, she found it extremely frustrating not to be able to get any accurate information to be able to plan.

Maureen told the Joe Finnegan show this morning that they were delighted to have supply again today, but a better system needs to be put in place to inform people about what is happening.
