The 4th annual Annaduff GAA Family Fun Day is taking place in the club grounds this afternoon between 2 and 6’o clock.
The day has been held for the past few years to raise funds for the club and local charities.
So far the club has raised a total of €20,000 for the charities and this year the charity involved is the North West Hospice.
The day starts at 2pm this afternoon and involves a range of activities for both adults and children, as well as music and a bar-b-que.
Admission is free and donations are optional.
Bernadette McGreevy from North West Hospice says they are delighted to have been chosen as the local charity this year and the funds raised will go to the very essential palliative service they provide for people across Leitrim and Sligo as well as parts of Donegal and Cavan.
Bernadette says the hospice relies on voluntary donations of over €1 million euro each year….
