A new tourist office is being developed in Ballinamore

A new tourist office is being developed in Ballinamore and is set to be open for the 2017 summer season.

 

It’s among a number of initiatives Leitrim County Council is undertaking to improve the economy of the south Leitrim town.

A total of €500,000 is also being spent on developing a boardwalk at Acres Lake in Drumshanbo, which will form part of the Blueway that will run from Lough Allen to Carrick-on-Shannon.
