A motion from the Leitrim branch of the TUI about the cervical cancer vaccine has been passed unanimously at its annual congress in Co Cork.
The motion from the Leitrim TUI calls for the arrangements for providing the anti-cancer vaccine in schools to be looked at.
TUI member Sean Wynne says he’s very happy the motion was passed as he feels the vaccine should be administered in health centres rather than school.
